Okay, ladies. You have to trust me on this one. I first saw the recipe here and wasn't too sure about it. And then I saw it linked on a couple of other sites and decided to try it. Dayum. It is really good. I made it in the oven yesterday and it may have been even better than it was out of the crockpot. I cooked it in a oven bag and was able to save the sauce to serve over spatzle. A great fall recipe that is reallyreallyreally good. Let me know what you think about it.
3-4 chicken breasts
12 pieces cooked and crumbled bacon (I used half a 3oz bag of baconbits)
1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
1/2 cup Ranch salad dressing
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Place the chicken in the crockpot. In a small bowl, combine the teriyaki sauce and the ranch dressing. Pour sauce over the top of the chicken. Add the shredded cheese and the crumbled bacon to the crockpot, getting between the chicken pieces,if you can.
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4.

hmmm.. odd but worth a try cause i do love the crockpot.
I'm wondering if it's "Ranchy" tasting? J doesn't like Ranch.
Karen I didn't think it was "Ranchy" tasting at all. I don't see having it every week, but I'm definitely adding it to the rotation.
I liked this! I liked the firm cheese and bacon topping and yes, the sinful sauce is yummy over some sort of starch. I'll make this again for sure.
Thanks!
I'm here again for the 4th or 5th time getting this recipe. I've grown to love it a little more each time.
I told my dad about it and he's so excited about making it. Definitely one the better "chicken breasts in the crockpot" recipes!
